I've always had a fascination with railroads and equipment. I suppose this dates back to my early years of riding the Santa Fe from Chicago to Newton, Kansas in the 60's and early 70's to visit my 'Kansas' Grandma. My sister and I used to travel there with our Uncle Harry, a railroad buff who always had a rail tidbit to tell.
