| I've
flown 57G for years and she is truly a smooth and happy flier. Since I can't go flying as often as I'd like, I revert to the 150 for its
simplicity. This makes it easier to concentrate on airspace issues and watch for other
traffic. Note the 40 degree flaps available
only on 150's. 57G is a VFR equipped airplane. A basic set of flight instruments, one nav/com radio and a transponder w/altitude reporting capabilities. We wear headsets which reduce cabin noise tremendously and allow crisp radio communications. Here, my daughter and I are preflighting 57G. This involves checking fuel, control surfaces, engine oil...whatever. Actually, anything and everything is checked before we roll. |
