On this day, my daughter Leah joined me as co-pilot. She's 10 years old and really is very helpful. She holds the charts and follows along, then looks up the runway layout diagrams before we land somewhere. She's been flying with me since she was six weeks old.

Today, Leah wanted to have breakfast at Runway 47 Cafe, located at Morris Airport. It's a 40 mile hop west of Lansing. We're just about done preflighting and the weather has checked out wonderfully.
