Mackinac Bridge approaching from the southeast.
We're approaching the Mackinac Bridge on our way to Drummond Island. Being in a single engine aircraft, keeping a shoreline within gliding distance is a must.

Notice Mackinac Island in the distance. Also, some friendly looking cumulus clouds appear ahead. While small now, they're certainly worth keeping an eye on. You are your own weatherman while airborne.  Radio the local Flight Service Station to help paint a better picture of the weather ahead.
