| Drummond Island is the eastern most point of the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. The Canadian border is just a stones throw away. I remember thinking at the time that the landscape was exactly the same, yet that was Canada over there. Distinctive shorelines make navigation a snap and helped keep us from straying into Canadian Airspace. I believe a flight plan is required along with a landing at an airport of entry in Canada if you plan to cross the border. You can also bet on a fee or two.
